Literacy Forsyth and Barnes & Noble are partnering to raise money for our adult literacy and GED programs. We are having our first ever bookfair with Barnes & Noble!!
From April 23 to April 28, you can shop at ANY Barnes & Noble in the nation and a percentage of your Barnes & Noble purchase will benefit Literacy Forsyth when you use our BookFair ID number at the register!! Our bookfair ID is 11049749.
You can even participate by shopping online! Just remember to use our bookfair ID when you check out.

This summer the Forsyth County Library and Literacy Forsyth teamed up to offer a digital storytelling camp for students in Forsyth County. The camp focused on students learning English as a Second Language.

Register now for our June Scrabble Tournament!!!
Join us on Saturday, June 23 2012 for our second Scrabble Tournament at Lanier Tech Conference Center.
We will be hosting both a Pairs Tournament and an Individual Tournament.
Registration Time: 9 am
Tournament Time: 10 am to 2pm
Pairs Recreation Tournament $10 per person
Individual Competitive Tournament $20 per person

This summer Literacy Forsyth will have new open office hours.
We will be in the office from 10 am until 4 pm on Wednesdays or by appointment other days of the week.
While we are often in the office multiple days a week, we are sometimes in meetings or with students. Please feel free to drop by on Wednesdays during the office hours to ask about tutoring services, classes, or if you're interested in Volunteering.

Literacy Forsyth is an organization that is so successful because of the hard work and dedication of its Volunteers. The organization has Volunteers who have given thousands of hours to provide free adult basic education to Forsyth County residents. Literacy Forsyth Volunteers complete a variety of task to help the organization run effectively, but the main role that Volunteers fill is that of Tutor.
